|  innocentchild | May 12, 2007 12:59pm | Go figure that the old GU025 (4xCD!) from Deep Dish is still one of my favorites of the Global Underground series and now Dubfire has put out the latest release.
It's deeper. It's darker. You can tell he grew up on the darker side of the 80's synth wave just as I did. It's electro-ish, ebm-ish (Nitzer Ebb!), tribal, sorta proggy, and all around just moody get shit done music. This is a release that you put on in the background and it moves you. It likes audio crack.
The GU series is hit and miss, but this is definitely a stand out release. |
